Fasciation Tea Cozies
The form of the standard tea cozy is distorted to echo the abnormal growth and flower head distortions known as the fasciation effect. Fasciation has a variety of possible causes, including hormonal changes, genetic mutations, fungal, viral and environmental causes. It has been noticed in daisies growing around the Fukushima accident site.
